On September 23, 2024, the Santa Fe Farmers Market Institute hosted Field of Stars, our signature fundraising gala celebrating local food, farmers, and community. Guests gathered at the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Pavilion for an unforgettable evening featuring a spectacular feast prepared by renowned local chefs, live music, and an exciting auction. The event brought together supporters, farmers, and food lovers to honor the resilience and dedication of Northern New Mexico’s agricultural community. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and sponsors, Field of Stars raised crucial funds to support the Institute’s programs, ensuring continued access to fresh, local food and vital resources for farmers and ranchers.

A Celebration of Local Heroes

Our 2024 honoree Farmer All Stars were Cañada Farms, The Vagabond Farmers, and Khalsa Family Farm and Community All Star: Reunity Resources. These champions work every day to strengthen our community through sustainable farming practices.

Authentic New Mexican Flavors

Attendees enjoyed food from Mas Chile, the brainchild of Edmundo "Mundo" Kelley Mendoza. Mundo's passion for traditional Mexican cuisine, inspired by his mother, shines in every dish. His food truck is a love letter to the flavors of New Mexico and chile-each bite tells a story of heritage, family, and community.
